California State University visits Inapa
A group of 29 MBA students and their professors from California State University Long Beach visited Inapa Portugal headquarters, to complete their 13-month fulltime graduate studies with an international experience in Portugal and Spain.
They studied previously the Inapa Group and knew the company, its markets and future plans. The goal was to discuss and witness firsthand the complexities and rewards of active involvement in the global economy. The session was facilitated by Jorge Bravo, Group COO, together with Gines Ramirez and Raquel Rebelo, who have presented Inapa Iberia "cluster" and Inapa Shared Service Center, respectively, topics which led to a lively exchange of ideas with this group of future American managers.
Eve Espindola, Program Coordinator who travelled with the Group referred that "the students were very impressed with the company and its adaptability to this fast changing industry", and stressed that "your message about flexibility, intimacy with the customers and «doing it right on the first try» was perfect for our MBA students as they prepare to graduate and enter the business world".
Dr. David Horne, Director of Graduate Programs, remarked that "every student came away with a renewed appreciation for what it takes for any organization to succeed in international markets, specifically for the need to build long term trust with customers, to be flexible in the face of changing market conditions and to instill a sense of urgency and competitiveness among all employees" and stressed that "we felt honored to be able to interact with Inapa at such a strategic yet practical level".
